The Blessed Hope Baptist Church first met in the outdoor pavilion of the Hopedale village park. The church then met at the pastor's home in June of 2008. The church quickly grew and moved into an old grocery store on Main Street. It was not long after the move to the store that the church was able to purchase a newely built wood shop on  S.E. Main Street. The church converted the wood shop, and was chartered on February 1, 2009, with 25 members.
